Luxor room service replaced by new digital food-delivery system

Luxor has commenced a new meals shipping application to switch standard home service at the vacation resort.

The pyramid-shaped resort on the South Strip stopped place assistance when the COVID-19 pandemic closed resorts for 78 times in March 2020. It did not return after the house reopened in June.

Luxor Specific, an in-home foodstuff and beverage supply plan, started working on Thursday. To begin with, it is staying offered from 7 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. from two Luxor food items outlets — Pyramid Cafe and Backstage Deli — to guests keeping at the east and west towers.

Lower county food truck fee proposal doesn’t advance

EDWARDSVILLE — Efforts have stalled to reduce the permit expenses paid out by food stuff vans in Madison County.

The Finance Committee this 7 days reviewed a resolution to decreased the rate for cellular meals support institutions (foods vans) by $200 from $375, but it failed for lack of a motion.

Madison County Board Member and Finance Chair Chris Guy, R-Maryville, mentioned the Well being Division Committee on June 3 voted 4-1 to lower the cost.
